Mendocino County may establish a Cannabis Prohibition (CP) zone in part of Redwood Valley. This would prohibit cannabis cultivation on select parcels in Redwood Valley, and impact current legal operators, as well as those going through the permitting process, despite these operators trying to do things the right way: as legal, above-board, taxpaying operators.

This potential zoning designation does nothing to solve the issue of unregulated illegal grows in rural residential areas, amounts to racist gerrymandering, and sets a bad precedent by making it harder for those seeking to cultivate the right way to stay in business.
